Heres an idea.... See if you can round up a french speaking individual and have him make a phone call to said dealership and ask for your salesman. Say something like, I was referred to "douche salesman" by a buddy and im really interested in buying a vehicle. When your slimey sales guy gets on the phone, THEN have that fun conversation about where your money is! OR-REV-WAR <~~ Thats french for goodbye

The money I paid the local dealer for the fob was on my credit card but has nothing to do with the original dealership. As far as going to Quebec it wasn't a first choice. I couldn't find the same car anywhere in Ontario for anywhere near the same price and condition. I actually went to my local dealer a week before I picked the car up and told them if they could somehow get the one I bought on a dealer trade I'd write them a cheque as soon as it arrived. They didn't offer to try to get it shipped so I ended up having to go to pick it up.

As far as the language issue, Montreal is quite different than Quebec City. Montreal has become a huge tourist area and the locals I believe at least try to accommodate visitors and aren't so assholish (I just made that word up :rofl2:) to non-French speaking people. I bought the car about 2.5 hours away from Montreal deeper into Quebec and into the 'old' area where they don't give a crap about tourism because there's nothing to do in that particular area. It's not even the fact that they didn't 'serve' me in English (which I fully didn't expect), but the salesguy won't even answer my e-mails now and is hiding from the issue. It's just baffling for them to just be able to completely ignore someone that bought a vehicle from them two weeks ago.

I intend on doing just that. I work with a guy who speaks fluent French and I will get him to call and ask for the same salesman on the premise of buying another Z they have on the lot. They're in a huge hurry to get rid of it before the snow comes so I'm SURE he'll immediately pick up the phone. Then I'll get on and see if he has the stones to tell me personally that they're welching on the agreement.

Good... At the very least, you'll get an answer and stop having it take up your time worrying about it. Just dont let him do the, "let me ask my manager and call you right back".. I would wait on hold for as long as it took to get an answer.

Thats true.. But he paid another company that was separate from the deralership. Filing a chargeback with them wont do anything.. Not the places fault that he ordered the fab from that the dealership screwed him.
