Sounds more like bad luck to me more than anything, but just to be safe make sure you break-in EVERYTHING properly (engine, brakes, transmission).
There's no problem with getting a new engine, so don't worry about that. I've heard other members complain about the 1-2 shift so take it back to the dealership and have them bleed it, or in your case since you've has a blown engine you might be able to convince them to replace the whole assembly. After that, try to relax. It's normal to be paranoid after having a bad experience but if you are then EVERY little thing you may or may not hear puts doubts in your head and then the car is no longer fun. Best of luck! |
