Question New Firestone Firehawk Wideoval AS

Hey, I just replaced the tires on my 2012 370Z. Regular sizes, Size: 245/45R18SL (Rear) and Size: 225/50R18SL (Front). Typically, I drive over 120 mph every day and hit 140 mph about once a week. Since these tires were installed it feels like the car is out of control once I hit the 100 mph mark. I went back and had the alignment checked and it needed a little tweaking but the car still handles like a loaf of bread. Anyone else have this problem?

You need different tires for heavy track use.

Not since last Friday when I got new Firestone tires. The car becomes unstable at 100 mph so I only drive 100 mph now. Has anyone else experienced this with Firestone tires?

I'll ignore the fact that you're driving like a complete fucktard and focus on the tires- traditionally, there's a layer of mold release on the tires that takes a while to burn off. Until this happens, the tires feel slippery. Also, those are all-season tires. If you replace summer tires with all-seasons, it will not handle as well.

Thanks. I hope that is what is happening here.

I am not able to ignore the fact that the OP is a complete fucktard. I tried, I failed.

What kind of moron drives like this on the road? Daily?

That said, he has further proven his intelligence by purchasing Firestone tires, which are about the worst tire possible. They make Hankooks look good.

I have not had this problem. I attribute this fact to my intelligence, something very clearly lacking in your case. I am smart enough to spend the money on quality tires.
