Go with your heart, buy what appeals to you and then do what is necessary. I have a 2013 370Z as a DD. Rather than buy a beater, Blizzaks for the winter and if there are those bad snowy days (no more than perhaps 5-15 where I live), take a taxi or have my spouse drop me off at work in her Prius.
