This may sound weird but I am a total sucker for interior's.. and the STi's interior is just so... blaugh

The touring model of the 370 has all of the interior comforts that I love, so does the Audi S5. I personally could never see myself in a STi or EVO just because of the bare/boring interior. I know that many people get that car for the raw performance, but I would prefer a 370 or S5 because you get a mix of luxury and performance.

The interior of the precious wrx/still was cheap...now it looks like they refined it a bit...I saw it at the auto show this year and thought it was a lot better than previous years, however I do want the hatchback option back

The new interiors were a step in the right direction but if squeaky cabins bother you I'd still stay far away lol.

Yes I am sure that the newer ones have nicer interiors... but the newer ones i'm guessing will definitely be out of my price range

So I'm guessing the S5 and Z you were looking at are used? Go with the Z I wouldn't buy a used Audi.

Agreed...used German cars can get really expensive...especially if they were leased and return

I realized that we just ask these questions to find some support for what our heart really wants. Go with your heart, buy what appeals to you and then do what is necessary. I have a 2013 370Z as a DD. Rather than buy a beater, Blizzaks for the winter and if there are those bad snowy days (no more than perhaps 5-15 where I live), take a taxi or have my spouse drop me off at work in her Prius.

I like the keep Z option.
The other car will be an AWD one. My buddy has a Subaru that we take off road for hunting and it is good in the snow for skiing trips as well.

Good luck.

Exactly and it's an S model so chances are it was driven hard. I'm sure the Z was driven hard as well but we got plenty of DD Z's on here pushing high mileage and still going strong with little to no issues.

my friend lost control on his Z last winter and it was totalled. He was a careful driver but somehow managed to let this happen to his baby.

Also last winter, my friend drove me on his A6 (well not S5 but they're both AWD from Audi) and we drove thru 15 miles on ice, get on the bridges and so on with no problems. We kept seeing cars that went off the ditch or spun around the roads on the way to our destination.

I myself was having this debate before too, and decided to go with a Z (just a month ago). No personal experience in the snow/ice yet but i dont think i would wanna take my baby out very often in bad weather.

I has 2 RWD cars I hibernate in the winter. Get the 370Z and a beater or two

R34.....wait wut? Its not 25year old car yet? Weeeaaaak!!!!

Well audi is an expensive luxury i hate that, so i say Z, i drove it in snow multiple winters np.

janglez 10-15-2014 01:12 PM

get the z... don't know if this is an option for you but i bought my z and leased an awd suv for daily/winter driving... leasing kept it affordable and i don't have to worry too much about miles due to having 2 vehicles to drive... or repairs due to both of them being under warranty :D
