Totaly in for the video. The search is on. Is there an abandoned airport around you?

Make sure you have that girl... or any girl just as gorgeous as that girl.

somehow my RE-11s still got plenty of life after about 10k miles plus 1.4 mile runs so i dont see this happening soon lol

i do plan on new tires in spring regardless sooooo maybe i'll roast these ones off then. i still got another month of driving until the Z goes away for winter hibernation.

Do you have a gopro? I have a silver edition. I might be able to find a decent camera to do a video with as well. I may also be able to lay my hands on some decent video editing software too. We could make it a MAZOC event and get more than one car going. This could be the driving event that jlw2546 thought we don't do much of ...

mazoc doesn't do alot of driving events.

i dont think steve will go for something of this nature lol

i do not have a gopro although ive been getting begged by people to get one and do exhaust videos.

I am shocked that Nissan would do this to the 2015, I mean how much of a savings could it really be anyway?

I'm sure it's an easy modification considering that the other trim levels have the paddles

It just proves how many people have sports cars for show. These types of threads should be reserved for people who are in the 150mph+ club.

i know im late to the game here, but im willing to bet they can be retrofitted easily. too bad i sold my spare paddles i had laying around!!

the G37 journey people add paddles relatively easily. i believe fontana nissan sells the entire kit with paddles for ~400. pretty simple DIY as well

Just seems like a waste of engine. Without the ability to shift when you choose, either manual or paddles, then the auto is never going to take you anywhere near the red line.
Again, what a waste.

You don't need paddles to manually shift the automatic, you can still use the shift selector. You just move it over to the left and shift away.

my car has never seen actual "automatic/ D" mode.

everytime i get in my car its 1, 2, 3. start button, VDC off, manual mode.

regular daily commute and normal driving i use the shifter select

track/drag strip/back road or dragon driving - all get the paddles.

i love the fact i have the option of either. its much more comfortable with the shift knob for just normal driving and has the old feel of a manual driving position and yes i find myself accidentally moving my left foot at times lol

actually that is the only thing i dont like about the GTR is that its paddles only lol :stirthepot:
