MPG different between Sports and Base?

The new engine could just need to break in.
Nevermind missed the car was used, could be the way it was broken in...

I have the sports manual and back roads to work I'm at 25 mpg considering I tend to put the pedal to the metal few times to pass the driver who may at one time or another worked at a funeral home driving way below the speed limit
