Funny thing about oil....especially synthetic..

Isn't one of the main reason's you should use synthetic in our cars do to heat. Dyno oil degrades really fast once it gets into the 240+ degree range which

Isn't one of the main reason's you should use synthetic in our cars do to heat. Dyno oil degrades really fast once it gets into the 240+ degree range which our cars can easily achieve once pushed really hard. I'm sure someone on here will chime in and correct me.

That's why I use cooking oil. Not the cheap stuff, not canola, my Z only gets high grade almond oil. Sure, other folks say I'm being bourgeois, but my exhaust smells like amaretto; who can beat that.
