Default A poem/song for my Z

So I let you go and now you're with somebody else
I can be mad as hell, but really, I can only blame myself
Such good times, you know I'll never forget you
I smile inside when I think about all the things you can do
The attention, you made men and women stop and stare
Felt like a superstar, now I wonder will those same people care
Being inside you, no better feeling that I know of in this life
I'll miss all of that, even if I try not to with all of my might
You brought me up when I was down, you were my shining light
So now you're gone...I'll miss you with all of my heart
Hit that gas pedal and speed off into the dark

A sad day my friends. But I expect Sony records to come calling due to the above song writing skills my wife thinks I'm retarded now by the way

Some might recall I had my car up for sale. No real "need" to sell, although wife had a bit of pressure in it. Knowing I could sell and have some cash in hand was really the only motivation. Clear some debt.

I let some of the ads expire...but forgot about one on this french website.

Anywho, guy calls, sees it Thursday night at 7:30pm and she's gone Friday by 2pm

Was so fast, honestly, I felt rushed and kinda bullied which i didn't like, but when someone has over 32K in cash....its a motivator lol.

I am actually considering getting another Z lol

I would just be starting from scratch, all stock most likely but hey, I can breath easier having used over 10K in cash from the sale to pay debt.

Otherwise I guess going the more practical route with an Audi S4 or M3 Sedan but hard to find (looking in the 2011/2012 year range for the Audi) I just need to row some gears no matter what.

Anyways, I wrote that poem becasue I really loved my Z... I mean LOVED

I had not one complaint. I do believe for the money I spent I got a hell of a car that had amazing looks and very good performance.

It also signified for me finally wanting something and putting myself in the right place to attain it. It hasn't really sunk in yet, its like my car is just at the garage getting work done.

I don't change cars like underwear, I get attached and I keep them, epecially this one.

Also learned so much more about the Z and just cars in general thanks to the car and the crowd of amazing people on this site.

I just had to get that off my chest...I'd say more...lots more but I don't want to bore everyone. Now to go weep in my lunch

I'll miss you.

Nice post and I understand how you feel. Most of my cars have been nothing special until I bought my Z, but I remember when I sold my first car. I had so many great memories of it and seeing it drive off was tough.

Hopefully he lives in a different area so you don't have to see her running around with another guy.

thankfully he lives about 1.5 hours from my place and doesn't really come downtown

But its funny, there was a big JDM car show over the weekend and he already took the car to it...I received messages like "who's driving your car man???"

That looks like a 40th. I think I just died a little inside thinking about giving mine up. Love those S4's though. Been looking at 13's lately.

Sorry to hear about having to sell her. The bright side -- opportunity to get and experience something different but hope you get into another Z.
I would hate the thought of parting with the Z. I know it is just a car but what a great feeling to be behind the wheel of this car.

Thanks man, still tough and hasn't sunk in, especially since I haven't figured out the next ride yet. I was definitely attached to this car.

Heck, my gmail is: 370zsean@gmail.com lol, now what am I gonna do

Enjoy your Z buddy, she looks great!

Great poem, I bought one of these as a DD. I found myself second guessing my choice of a two seater for that duty. Then I get in and hit the highway and all second guessing evaporates. A lot of great cars out there but this one is special, I agree.
Good luck in your new purchasing adventure!
