Thanks for all the replies. I can definitely use some of them the next time someone asks me what my MPG is.

These are probably my four favorites, in no particular order:

Buying a sports car and worrying about your miles per gallon is a little bit like...

... paying for breast augmentation and whining about an increase in annual bra costs.
... going skydiving and worrying about how your hair looks.
... worrying your supermodel date is going to order the lobster.
... a heroine addict worrying about the needle marks on his arm.
