I plasti-dip all my wheels and then I simply peel it off when brake dust accumulates. Then, simply re-plasti-dip and problem solved.

You are welcome.

OP, to clean your wheels get some Simple Green, dilute it however you want (I pour a few ounces in a bucket of water, and clean your wheels. I haven't seem any wheel cleaner clean wheels like Simple Green. (I use Simple Green HD or pro or whatever now; it's $3-4 more than the regular one at Home Depot)

I daily drive my 2010 Nismo with the factory Nismo wheels, for weekends
and car shows on go a set of Work Wheels. I bought these brake pads
from Z1 Motorsports. They produce very little brake dust and run quiet,
They are not for tracking your Z and are not a high performance pad.

60,000 miles and drive my Nismo every day of the week....

the dusting on the Z's factory pads is nothing comparing to euro car brake dust and my G's original brembo pads.

What makes you think I only have one brush for my rims . I have three: 1. The one I showed that gets in there "all deep like" 2. One like you shown for the outside 3. Horse hair brush to get into the lugnuts and caliper.

I also QD the car body daily with a microfiber

yah i dont usually clean the barrel of the wheel unless i remove it off the car
and use that long handle boar's hair brush.

i swap wheels every season and only drive on dry days so it doesnt get that
dirty.

as for caliper i just wipe it with my damp detailing mf towel after cleaning the wheel. i hate dirty calipers.

I just wash them by hand with soap and water. Every 15k or so I will pull the wheel and was the backsides. OCD at it's best.
Years ago, one of my girlfriends called me Mr. Clean...LOL Not because I had a bald head either.

If you don't like brake dust make sure you never buy the ds2500 pads. I just put them on the front and every 4 days I have to wash my whole car due to the dust. The front silver wheels become crimson red, my door jams have the red dust in them and leave a pink hue along the jam and the rear wheels are pink from the brake dust coming off the front wheels.

I can stop on a dime though.
