Did that article really just say that a miata can handle as well as an rx8 or 370z?

They way he wrote that you would think that the nismo was a twin turbo and the standard 370z was a n/a 4cyl.

Agreed, I'd like to give the 2010 Nismo a test drive to see how much difference I can feel between it and my 2009 Touring/sport

The miata is possibly the best mass-produced driver's car in existence. Not to mention it's cheapish.

Go to a local autocross - odds are at least half the cars there will be miatas.

stock vs stock does a miati handle as well as an rx8 or 370z? This is not a smartass question, just a question as I've never gotten within 30 paces of a miata.

Yup...Both it and the RX8 are superb handling cars...I've owned 3 of them and will probably own another....

Can't forget the RX7... Don't think I have ever driven a more competent car around a track... 93 R1.. Would love to drive a Cayman S around the twisties sometime..

Yep, I get my *** kicked at the auto-cross by a super-charged Miata on a fairly regular basis. Only time I can beat him is in damp and wet conditions. His car is far from stock though. I can usually beat stock Miata's, but they always put in a good showing, as do the RX-8's.

Horrible review. This is the same guy that says the versa is more sporty than the 370z. All this guys does is hate on the 370...
