Hard for me to compare since my oem tires turned into hockey pucks with flatspots, but;
Yes, the ride is also much softer just an overall good tire, lateral grip is slightly worse but not noticeable, for a DD tire this is the one to get.
I had 06DWS before them on my HR and the DWS sidewall felt like it was made out of kitchen sink sponges, the ADVAns just feel like a way better all around tire.

I only had them for 300 miles or so but they feel great for a DD/ spirited driving.

I wouldn't recommend them for a dedicated track tire though, they are too comfortable for that and being A/S do not provide as much dry grip, so if you are F/I over 400whp i'd imagine you'd be fighting with traction too much. I feel like their grip limit is stock power level +50whp or so.

My 2016 base came with those Advans stock, and they were the noisiest tire I've ever had. And that includes big offroad meaty tires. I couldn't get them off fast enough.

Finally got the plates from the county, and installed the tow hook front plate mount I picked up from Larry at moweraxle.com.

Perfect fit, and looks great.

Took cover off, off flatstoppers, reinstalled V1 on blend mount, charging hero2

, and turned and dressed the tires.

Sat in da car a few min while playing with the clutch and shifter. Cabin feels cozy and good.
Steering wheel is nice and perfectly positioned.

But mang dat clutch pedal feels like shittt.

Started her up today and sat in it revving up to 2k for about 5 minutes.... too much salt on the ground and no insurance = bah!

It was so nice out too

u got water in ur midpipe now..

should just dont start it at all or drive at least 10miles.
