In my defense NM has many deserted public highways. I was the only car on that road that morning. 50 miles between towns in either direction. But still, I started thinking this is "goto jail" speeding so I backed off.

To be honest, I have driven through NM on my way to CO and found it very difficult to not speed. But this was years ago, and we were in an older 626 that could barely hit 100 mph in the first place. My co-driver got pulled over for going 100 in a 65 zone, and the cop was totally understanding (empty, flat highway with zero traffic) and wrote him up for 10 mph over

totally agree with that... i feel like going under 60kmh is painful in the Z. cruising on the highway going 120 it feels stable, planted, and even like you're going slow. even when passing someone and faster it felt so stable and didn't notice how fast until i glanced down.

i think once you can see the needle it means you're going at Z-speeds. if you can't see the needle you need to drive faster
