This thread has some good info: Using Jack Stand...where to contact point?

I usually just drive one front wheel up onto a piece of 2x12 laid flat which gives me just enough room (at stock height) to access the front garage jack point with my low profile jack. I use a regular hockey puck when I use the garage jack points, and I have a puck with a slit cut in it for use on the side pinch rails.

Thx, JAR...will have a look. Haven't had to raise the front yet, but planning to use the same point as you and the rear is easy using the diff... Just struggling to settle on good jack stand points so far.

Oh, keeping to the rules... I opened the Z looking for my micro USB cable this morning. And should be getting tint this week. W00t!

I generally use the pinch rail for my jacks, but I have used the frame rail on Ms. Pint's car because she has side skirts that cover up the pinch rail. If I can today, I will take and post a picture of where I have placed jack stands.

Appreciate that man. One of my biggest concerns is when I need to get the whole car on stands. I worry that when either the f/r are up and I go to the lift the other end, the car slips off the stands as that's the pivot point ya know. Probably better to do l/r sides in that case but still need solid points.

I saw that thread you linked and actually got the idea to use a that rear brace as my stand point from that.
