What did you do with your Z today VI (ON TOPIC DISCUSSION ONLY)

Played arts and crafts with my Z's hatch! I got some 3m sound dampening mats to start. Lined the wells, put some on the flooor and also on the bumper wall. To my surprise the panals had some 'cotton like' gauze / padding on some of it but not fully lined. Also noticed there were a few 'patches' of something as well. I'm assuming it was used to help dampen sounds. I did a few 'tap' tests to find hollow area's or ding areas and focused on covering those places. It became a lot more dampened after application.

I did go on a test drive and was a little less noisy from the rear but the real test will be a rain-weather drive. Next step is to save up some more doe to grab a megapack of husmat or something and fully line the trunk area. Work in progress as life goes on!
