Yup. 19.1 US Gallons. I routinely fill up 18 gallons.

I fill up at 1/4 tank, it only take 1X running out of gas on fwy, night and raining..

mishuko 03-08-2017 12:49 PM

Half tank I'm compelled to fill... although I run to 1/4 before parking. And same thing coming out of parking.

Yup. The fun days when it's $75 at the pump on empty.

Most I ever hit was 18.6 ... I think that ties Andrew (DE) for most gallons pumped when actually driving the car up to the gas station :)

:icon14: 18 gallons of 93 octane is about $43 here :driving:

mishuko 03-08-2017 02:54 PM

That was what I was paying for a half tank at one point lol

91 is about 2.65 a gallon here. I never worry about gas mileage, it's all about 'smiles per mile'... :icon17:

Leingod 03-08-2017 03:09 PM

Yea. Remember paying $3.84 at some point last year for 93 oct. i'll have to see if I can find the receipt from my credit card hahaha

I had a Shelby about 10 years ago. Average per gallon price was $3.64.

Last DD was a F150 with a 36 gallon tank. For a while, I had to fill up early to keep it under $100. Lasted about a week and a half.

Had a cop do a double take on me yesterday on the opposite side of the road. Wasn't even doing anything. Usually they don't even see the Z. So... I drove close to the speed limit in to work this morning and I'll be doing the same on the way home. :driving:

I routinely go down to zero dots. I believe you're on your last gallon when you hit zero. Went 10 miles on zero once. I think I was pushing it.

If you do the math, the blinking lights are usually wrong.
I average 20 mpg and change. That's over 380 miles on a tank. It usually tells me I have 60 miles left at around 290-295 miles, so I should have over 80 miles left. Fillups seem to agree, since it's usually around 15 Gallons.
I just use it as a reminder, and don't spaz over it.

I normally fill up around 1/4 tank in my cars as a feel good measure. I know I can go more, but why? The Z I normally fill at just under half tank due to it's stupid fuel starvation issues.

First year or so of having my Z premium was $4.20+/gal. Didn't stop me from driving the **** out of it :driving:
