Also, had to tell some 16 year old to put down his phone while driving. He gave me some lip and I put him in his place at the next light where we had a chance to chat. Fuckin entitled millenials or whatever that generation is called :shakes head:

I hope this time around they make it Illegal here in Texas to use the phone while driving and in force it!!

Interesting. In the first video you grabbed the pulley and pulled/pushed and in the second video you grab the edge of the pulley and twist instead of grabbing and pulling.

Just an observation.

Interesting observation, but it wasn't moving in the second clip if I'd have put a crowbar on it. The first with all the play it would have moved just as easily if I'd used two bare fingers instead of a gloved hand.

Later in the day I showed the vids to a supercharger rebuild shop and was told the slow side bearings weren't pressed in fully to retain the shaft (my layman terminology not his) so in it goes. The bearings need to be replaced and hopefully that's all, but st this point wouldn't be surprised if there was more. Hate the idea of sending something in like this with basically a blank check but in this case it is better than me opening it up and hoping I fixed it peorperly and addressed any and all issues. Just want to be able to bolt it back on with no worries like I should have been able to do in the first place.

They did here a few years back. It helped for a bit, then slowly people got brace again and now I'm not sure how much different it is from before except that you risk a $500 fine or something like that for distracted driving.

It's illegal to text while driving here and it hasn't worked. The cops are still texting...
We've got some of the most self-centered oblivious drivers in the nation. They Might as well not even waste the money for stop signs or turn signals.
Rant to be continued.

It's illegal to operate a handheld device while driving. I have used it as a gps but it's sitting in the cup holder.

I got hit taking a call when it first came out

Maybe I'm getting old but 16 strikes me as being far too young to be entrusted with the responsibility of operating a motor vehicle. We live in a time where many people don't start working until their 20s and many more live with their parents until almost 30. Consequently the development of any sense of personal responsibility seems to have been deferred until later in life. The minimum driving age should be raised to 18 across the board on my opinion. I personally wouldn't entrust a 16 year old with a golf cart, let alone a car.

Around here cops would be exempt from laws like that. They say they have "special training" or some such bullsh*t. Not sure who they think they are fooling, or if they care that they are fooling anyone at all.

Heck, they even changed the decals on their cars some years back from "to serve and protect" to "courage, vigilance, pride" :shakes head:

I guess they're also exempt from all other traffic laws. Like signaling, stopping at stop signs.
Seems to me that police tend to make up laws as they go along. I wouldn't have their job, but they shouldn't take liberties just because of the danger.
I believe all in "leadership" roles should be doubly responsible and held to a higher standard. That's what being a leader is all about.

Told you the rant would continue. :icon18:

No argument there. Even worse than the double standard is the blue wall they hide behind when they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

Doing some test fit with H DEPOT mesh, not the final product,
need to removed the bumper to do it properly and paint them black
What do you think guys?

Looks good.

When I did my hood vents I went with round hole cutouts instead of the chicken mesh look (just my term no offence) but I think in your bumper like you have it that's the way to go! Nicely done

Got my new to me 2013 370z Nismo about a month ago....seriously love this car. It had only 12k miles on it and was like new...so I decided to go OCD and do a ton of maintenance etc. to it to make it even more like new. I of course did all this myself as I love to turn a wrench....plus I hate the stealership...

New Serpentine Belt
Changed Oil/filter
Differential oil change
Clean Throttle Bodies
Flush Brake Fluid
Bleed clutch fluid
Transmission Fluid change
Windshield wipers
Installed New Battery: Yellow top D35
In cabin filter
Replaced Spark Plugs
Changed out ugly chrome headlights and installed 2015 black ones.
R2c Intake installed
Tanabe # T70132A axel back exhaust ...man it sounds sweet after taking off that sound proof anchor oem axel back...
Door handles removed painted satin black and reinstalled
Tail lights and 3rd brake light painted (nightshade + Upol clear) reinstalled
Black lug nuts + black stem caps

Only things I didnt physically do myself is:
Get windows tinted
Get some brand new Michelin Pilot Super Sports (definitely a major improvement over stock)

Now I am going to detail it....clay bar, zaino wax, new floor mats etc etc...

Man I need a break.......:icon17:
