What did you do with your Z today VI (ON TOPIC DISCUSSION ONLY)

Thx madwi. I had a blast. No kids. No husband. Just a bunch of car lovers. Oops! Wrong thread... On topic: Harry had a bunch of rainy road dirt but still photographed well. Now..back to off topic thread. |
Just back from the in-laws celebrating the boys b-day and a belated fathers day. BBQ'd. Drove the Z across town. Yesterday I practiced trail braking and ordered oil for all the cars and gear lube for the Z transmission and diff. Today I changed the oil on the Z.
Amsoil Signature Series 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil and Purolater PureONE PL14612 filter. The kid helped. Oh ... and I crushed a new crush washer. |

I was too pooped to take a picture after washing it on a 91 degree afternoon, but it was filthy and I had to get it done because it's going to get hot here for the rest of the week. |

I was the one complaining about the heat. MS, not MI. But I haven't reached those digits on my dash yet. |

That gives me oil temp anxiety
|
Lol, I wished I had taken a picture of mine from last summer in Phoenix,124*. My oil temps never went above 240* with the AC blasting and traffic. Once I got her rolling the temp dropped to 225. I have an Fast Intentions 34 row oil cooler...it's awesome.

for instance keep an empty gas container and funnel in the garage that your family can bring to you if you do encounter a starved fuel pump. keep a bottle of brake fluid and a small funnel, and even a spare csc in the garage. brainstorm steps you would take in cause you do encounter it. .. i guess? kinda like preparing your house for a major storm or something. |
