Yesterday drove the cabot trail. Short clip of the highlands.... anyone in or around the east coast near the cabot trail has to go and drive these roads. Did it again today but was raining and thick fog for the first portion. Cleared up as I approached the highlands so was lots of fun. Roads were very quiet and had some spirited fun. Still kept a large margin of safety due to weather, second time driving and wanting to see another day :) Heading to halifax tomorrow... over 2600km driven so far on my east coast adventure. Pictures to follow once I get back home to resize. |
Drove Harry to work.
Drove Harry home. At 20 to 30 mph. For most of the 45 mi commute. Not much fun :( |

Got my car back today, from that bleed screw sheering off debacle. Clutch feels like new again! They put in a new CSC and bled with GTR "special" (lol) fluid. Got the diff oil changed while it was there also. My tech held on the the old CSC for me to see and it was obviously used, but actually looked really good at the 14k mark! Innitial driving, the clutch felt really light almost like a C6 Z06 vette feels. It did have the same travel distance and engagement point as before, just lighter. After about 10 miles on the fwy, it stiffened up to a little stiffer than when new. Feels great now! Best part is no out of pocket cost!

Rehab on my headlights. They're not perfect, but they definitely look better!

Subwoofer
Not actually today, but this past weekend:
Installed sound dampener, bazooka tube & amp in my hatch area. Installed the bazooka tube in gap at the front of the hatch area, underneath the carpeting like several other people here on the forum have done. Installed the amp inside of the spare tire area under the carpeting. Made a quick shelf piece out of MDF and the spare tire hold down bolt holds the amp nice and secure. Pretty quick to move the amp in that rare occasion where I might need the spare. Thanks to all on this forum for posting pictures and "how to" videos. There is no way I could have did this without outside help.:tiphat: BTW: The bazooka sounds great to me. Just adds a little extra fullness to the sound and I did not loose an inch of cargo space. |
