Today was a really good day for me as I got my Nismo back from the shop today. Installed were my Black Friday shopping purchases of Z1 aluminum motor mounts, SPL sub frame bushing and a Wavetrac rear differential. Oh and I had already installed a Sparco Evo II US race seat with Sparco side mounts and Wedge Engineering bracket with a slider. Well the ride is amazing from a pure performance stand point she is true and proper sportscar now. The suspension is tight, the engine is powerful and the responsiveness and acceleration is exhilarating. If you want soft and plush ride this set up is not for you she is built for pure performance. Boost on :driving::driving::driving:

Today, I had some free time so I decided to wash and wax my car. It came out brilliant, I am really happy with the results

Fun part: Installed Diode Dynamics license plate, backup lights and rear turn signals.

Less-than-fun part: Changed my oil because I overfilled it on my last change. Air bubbles in the oil, threw a CEL and pushed the idle to around 1100.
Hopefully the change took care of it. Thanks to this forum, I was able to clear the code.
I lub you guys. :p

MB looks awesome when freshly washed and waxed! It's just so hard to keep it that way. Looks great!

Thank you, I try to wash it every week if I can help it.
Being Christmas and all, I decided to go the extra mile.

On Vacation,so decided to remove my driver's seat (base, touring, leather, heated)
it needs a good cleaning & was wanting to widen the seat section a bit....make more comfortable for long rides.
at 6'5"285/most weight is in seat & would like to have a bit more room...leg room is great!
any links or input without getting laughed at?
would also be good to widen the shoulder area-to hold in place better.
i may have to get an aftermarket seat...all suggestions welcome/not in a rush.
ty,joby

Alright so opinions needed. I don't have the cash to be able to buy winter tires (******* $1,000 a set) but I have the ability to buy 4 new, correctly sized, michelin all-seasons for $450 shipped. All-seasons are better than nothing for snow at least right?

You should be okay, as long as the snow doesn't get over 3" deep, then you are a fancy snowplow. I am running all-seasons with one tube of sand under the rear bar, along with running slowly, or at least I will be, once the body shop gives me Belle back. Last year I ran Blizzaks on the back and the summer tires up front with the sand. As long as I was smart, I had no issues. :)
