What did you do with your Z today VI (ON TOPIC DISCUSSION ONLY)

25K oil change, checked fluids, cleaned out the airboxes and clutch still working fine. S04's are wearing OK and I love the ride.

I am liking louder as I grow older. Just the opposite of what I'd expect.

Modified the Moweraxle.com front plate tow-hook bracket to get it centered on the bumper.

Wanted to satisfy the Texas front plate requirement, but hated the off-center tow-hook plate brackets.

Removed the black trim cover that exposes the tow-hook attachment hole. Attached an aluminum bar (painted black to hide piece) with a wall anchor through the drilled hole and through tow-hook hole. Drilled 24mm hole through tow-hook mounting stud behind plate bracket. Attached two 22mm washers on either side of aluminum bar. Secured aluminum bar to tow hook stud with 24mm hex bolt. Tied back and secured plate bracket with two industrial strength zip ties to keep plate from any fore/aft movement. Fixed two clear self-adhesive rubber chair pads between plate bracket and black bumper trim.

Washed the filthy Z today. It was so dirty I didn't even want to use the new wash mitt I purchased

Ran out of clay, so I will be picking up some more after a short stint at the office this afternoon. I hope to finish up a full exterior detail this weekend

Clay, two step hand polish, and wax sealant done on the hood. I will spot polish a few other areas before I wax the entire car tomorrow.
