I am at a total loss of how/when/where it happened as I try to be particular about where I park.

I postponed changing my cabin air filter until I am in a better frame of mind.

Now I need to do some reading about how to remove that damn white paint without damaging anything :shakes head:

Just shot this--sorry about the reflection. It is the thin white strip right at the edge-- ~8" long.

I just had the entire rear fascia replaced and repainted on my Nismo for about $700. So I'll guess ... $1300?

TKP-Zeto 02-02-2017 11:52 PM

Did you mean $13000?

From what I can see, the front bumper and daytime LED alone would be 1300.. then you've got fender, airbag, door, possibly suspension parts... oh dear god, that's gonna be a lot.

Glad you are okay. I see many deer all year round where I live in NC. What town did this happen in?

Between Greenville and New Bern.

Finished converting to Nismo! I am very pleased of how it turned out. Let me know if anyone have questions regarding the conversion!

Yes, finally got these darn Motordyne test pipes installed today!

If it weren't for the demon bolt on the passenger side, it would have taken about an hour and a half from start to finish to do the swap. However, thanks to that damn demon bolt on the passenger side, it alone took 3 hours and 45 minutes to remove! Yes, just that one stupid a$$ bolt! And this is with a fully capable shop at my disposal, including a full size car lift, full array of air and electric power, impact and hammer tools, hand tools, and a good friend with many years experience working on all vehicles of all types.

Anyway, they're on, there a healthy bump in power, much improved throttle response, and a wonderful sound! Now I can finally resume my tuning with Seb on the EcuTek for some real power gains.

That looks more like someone scraped you....

Liftbikerun 02-06-2017 07:37 PM

Tranny oil change, rear diff oil change, glad I got up in there found out the fill plug on the diff was hand tight, it was no wonder there was oily residue all over the rear diff.

Painted the fangs black and the rear lower diffuser black as well.

Swapping out the xpipe on my FI exhaust, traded my non-res for another members 12" Resonated xpipe which will be here ~Saturday.

Will be installing a Pioneer X2800BS which I just picked up cheap, as well as a rear cam.

Also while I am doing that over the next 7 days I'll be Dynamating the rear end and doors.

kenchan 02-07-2017 07:31 AM

started thinking about when to reinstate my Z's insurance for the new car season..

What did you do with your Z today VI (ON TOPIC DISCUSSION ONLY)

Attempted to get her presentable for the tornado benefit car show before running out of daylight. Miserable failure... She is clean, I think.

That doesn't look tooo bad! I have LED bulbs for those parking lights just sitting here. I don't mind the amber so I left well enough alone (the LED bulbs were free with an order I placed somewhere along the lines. But seeing that making me rethink it - maybe I'll give them a chance and see how it looks in person.

My (2016) DRL's stay on all the time now, so those would too if I did the swap. Always figured it'd look like upside down exclamation points but your pic is swaying me.

I need more mods on the list like a hole in the head right now though lol

Thanks! I bought the entire front assembly (including under tray and inner fender liner) for $700 total (total of 11 parts). Rear bumper cost me $450 (total of 2 parts). The optional LED light was $320. My paint for both front and rear came out to $550. Let me know if you want more detailed info about the conversion :)
