So here's the nudies of the intakes... Definitely feel the difference in the low end being smoother. Stronger pulls, more aggressive tone (sort of like the g35/37 exhaust kinda...) and looks cool as hell!

I am pleased with them. :rofl2:

The install took about 4 hours... a little long but was having trouble fitting the intake brackets over the engine area (after 30 min I just decided to re-use the old intakes brackets and my friend and I just shook our head thinking why not sooner) and the bumper was being a bit fickle. All in all it was fairly easy. Dremel was a lot easier than expected. Probably the easiest part of the job! Followed the guide for the MAF part and left them in the old intakes until I was done fitting and installation.

That's on my agenda this coming weekend. We drove the Z this weekend up to Wisconsin and it got rained on and is filthy. Can't wait to clean it up when I get back home.

Picked up one of these from Amazon.

Amazon.com: BAFX Products - Bluetooth OBD2 scan tool - For check engine light & diagnostics - Android ONLY: Automotive

Downloaded the Torque App on my Android phone. Lots of cool options on this thing. It does almost all the things my old AeroForce Interceptor ScanGauge did for my SRT-4 at a fraction of the cost.

Yesterday we took advantage of the perfect weather to do a little light "testing" to see which of our cars handles better, a c6 z06 or an 09 nismo, through some super quiet, windy back country roads. The only handling upgrades are new tires on both (Nitto Invos and Potenza RE11s). Spoiler- my nismo cleaned house with the competition. Now I just need that 500whp he's got under the hood of the z06... It was a perfect day. :)

Now that I put my new shift knob on, I'm aware of where my shifter boot is wearing where it made contact with the OEM knob.
Guess a new boot is in my future.

I'm a big Invo fan, but they are nowhere near the same performance as RE-11s. Whoever is on the RE-11s in that battle is going to win. I currently have two sets of Sport Ray's, one with RE-11s and one with Invos. The only chance Invos have to outperform the RE-11s would be in the rain :twocents:

I got this one. It came with Windows software. A little more expensive but I wanted the Windows software.

ScanTool 426101 OBDLink MX Bluetooth: OBD Adapter/Diagnostic Scanner for Android & Windows

It is very cool. Yours does all the same stuff, just does not come with the Windows software. There is free stuff out there though. Fun stuff. I used it to diagnose the CEL on my truck. Now just need to fix it.

While everyone else is putting away their baby for winter, I just got Blizzaks put on the spare set of wheels I had. I've got the sand tube, and the Blizzaks will go on when the snow arrives. I'm :driving: as long as it's not over 4" on the ground, then it will be :gtfo2:

:ugh2: 20% chance of rain today. Yupp Harry got rained on in the parking lot so he's filthy too. I will rant about wet Amish horse **** on the highway in Pints thread. :shakes head:
