I've been rev matching downshifts. I just don't get why my shifts from 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 4th etc are so smooth without any rev matching or anything but

I've been rev matching downshifts. I just don't get why my shifts from 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 4th etc are so smooth without any rev matching or anything but 1st to 2nd is being so difficult.
