Default Sticky shifter. 1st gear

Wasnt really sure what to search to find something similiar.

Anyone ever had 1st gear feel very sticky?
hard to push into 1st and get out of 1st..

Happened to me today so I just restarted the car and it was all smooth again.

anyone know if this is a problem or just nothing to worry about?

idk what it is, i got the same problem. it happens to all the gears if i'm just shifting through it while stopped, but only happens to 1st while moving.
if you're wondering y i'm shifting through all the gears while stopped, it's just to check if the rest is sticking also.

hmm, it only happened to me once and only in first. I tried the same thing while stopped and all were smooth except 1st until I restarted the car

honestly it gets less and less of a problem as you drive it. Either it wears in or you subliminaly get better at it.

Just like how the brand new tires chuck rocks up into the top of the wheel well, at 5,000 miles it no longer does it.

most MT's get smoother after 5K+ miles. but the 370Z's gear box seems pretty smooth out of the box.

The 370Z assault on the 1st to 2nd gear change is worse than a KIA Spec.

However, after that initial ambush it becomes much more convincing that things are going to be, OK.
