I know 3 (that's right, 3) people that had window chips filled. All 3 continued to crack afterwards, and they were all eventually replaced. One lasted but a week. the longest duration....2 months.
Get it replaced, or fill it with crazy glue gel. Same damn stuff.

Giant tool flew out a pickup truck that cut me off and cracked my windshield from top to bottom. I was a bit depressed for a while because i had JUST tinted the windshield with ceramic tint for $150. Luckily i found out that i live in south carolina where window damage replacements are free and dont raise premiums with little to no hassle at all

I watch out for lifted trucks and those without fenders and ones with fatter tires as well as big wheelers. I keep good distance if i spot these or gun it past!
