Holy cow, I guess I am lucky. I have had 5 Z's and my wife liked all of them. I bought the 370Z on a whim after seeing the commercials during football last year, and all she said was "get it if you want it" even though it was her turn to get a new car. She was the one against selling the 300ZXTT the few times I thought about it. I do make 5 times what she does, but we share everything and take turns with big things like cars, etc... All of that and she never even drives the Z's. She drives a 99 4Runner that we bought new but is looking to get another SUV soon.

think I will tell her how much I appreciate her today!!

edit: I forgot, she wasn't around for Z #1.

No Kidding. I feel very lucky to have such a great wife. I had a 03 350Z and my wife said, "do you like that new Z?" I said ofcourse and she said can we afford for you to get it? I said, probably. And she said "then lets get it but i get to pick the colors"

My wife drives an 07 Mazda 3, i sold my 350Z privately and pre-ordered the 370Z. Waited 3 months for it to come.

cool  let us know how it goes down...

that would be a nice trip back from St. Louis :driving:

I smell divorce!

14 years and holding together quite well. What's the matter? You jealous because I haven't allowed myself to be neutered by the weaker sex?

I didn't say I keep her barefoot and pregnant. I just didn't let her socialize me into being a pansy-azz so she can control me like some puppet on a string. Apparently you and several others didn't opt to keep your free will.

I am not the one dancing to the string pulls. How's it feel to be wearing the panties in your family?

Why? Because I didn't allow myself to be socially brainwashed by the COSMO girls? I wasn't aware there were so many Z-owners who were ball-less wonders.:icon18::icon18::icon18:

Wow, what a story. I read every post and decided to have a non-confrontational talk with my wife. I told her I had decided it was my decision and she was going to have to live with it. Her concern was that I am 54 and she is 50. This is my second (and last) marriage and we have two wonderful kids, a girl who is 11 and a boy who is 7. She is worried about us taking on more years of debt getting older and having such young children. She knows that as a teacher, I can't last forever. I pointed out that if I retired in 5 years, the SUV would be 8 years old. I will probably go 6 to 11 more years. Somewhere along the way, I'd have to get a new car anyway and the SUV depreciates each year. My SUV is in like new pristine condition, metallic red and loaded.

Good for you John!!! It's nice to see that some Z-drivers don't have to masquerade as men around here because they still are men! Again...good for you!!!

Yep just like you got me all figured out just because I chose not to abdicate my paycheck to someone else who didn't earn it.
