don't pay attention to what others do. I set a rule to myself that I can only allow 1 'major' mod per year (major = more than $250, not including maintenance stuff like fluids, etc.)

I have gone nuts in the last 10 months and I don't regret it. I work hard and find myself enjoying this labor of love. Besides, this may be the last chance I have to build a car like this. I've already decided the next project will be an older restoration :)

I sold a bunch of car audio gear to fund my mods. I've done garage sales selling tools and crap that I've collected over the years. My wife wonders where I got the money, well there you have it. I miss SQ and SPL but now that my ears are blown it does not matter.
