Modding is a vicious cycle but you have to draw the line somewhere and let you bank account heal. Unless, you get that payment from the prince.

Live to mod, mod to live.

I, of course, have kept my Z mostly stock. I have only modded shifter, sways, camber arms, intake, brakes, clutch, tires, springs, shocks, exhaust, hoses, pulley, belt, fluids. Otherwise, I am completely stock.

If its hard controlling how much u spend on mods, then u bought the right car:driving:

don't pay attention to what others do. I set a rule to myself that I can only allow 1 'major' mod per year (major = more than $250, not including maintenance stuff like fluids, etc.)

I have gone nuts in the last 10 months and I don't regret it. I work hard and find myself enjoying this labor of love. Besides, this may be the last chance I have to build a car like this. I've already decided the next project will be an older restoration :)
