2015 nismo
So what do you guys think if the new 2015 nismo body style??
http://jalopnik.com/2015-nissan-370z...-it-1577484826 so I didn't see any post on this yet so sorry if I'm reposting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Well I know a lot of people don't like it but I am one that does. I did just happen to get my 2014 in November so I might consider trading in. This has a much better front end then the 2014's and the rear is nice too. I am just not that impressed with those wheels as the ones I currently have.

I wonder how it would look with an amuse wing?
|
Put me in the "like" file. Great to see that old horrible barn door of a wing gone.

Aggressive... This should have come out in 2013.Impact would have been better to Z enthusiasts. I think members are "rightfully" anxious for a Z35 to go against the competition that many just see this Nismo as "lipstick on the pig."
Me personally. This is "THE" Z34. It needs the 2014 wing though, desperately. Probably a Nismo part selling scheme by not having a proper wing. I just hope VVEL was smoothed out. Good work Nissan... 2 years late though. I'd still strongly consider the purchase. Also I think this Nismo is giving hints to the Z35 architecture with this Nismo. I believe the design will be evolutionary, not revolutionary |
One thing that I like about the interior besides the obvious is how they have all the silver pieces painted black...it blends in better imo

What brake improvements/changes? Changes to tuning/power/torque? Did Nissan talk about how much it weighed? Changes to the driveline? Diffs, clutch, tranny, gearing? Drag? |
This is my favorite Z34 to date. I'd paint the lower portion of the front bumper to be body colored though. Hopefully all 2015's will have the black headlights.

Noticing the wheels. They may be substantially lighter than the outgoing wheels. But I'm sure whatever weight was lost externally was gained internally with the nav. The base/NISMO seats were exxtremely light. Did we get brand name seats that are heavier? Hope not. At least they are competition certified. |

none to my knowledge Changes to tuning/power/torque? same as the current NISMO 18 hp gain on the standard car from the same exhaust and ECU tweaking Did Nissan talk about how much it weighed? no and that figure was left out of the specs. i would guess its very similar to the current car. the body work and the seats may move last years numbers around a bit but there wasnt anything I noticed that was geared purely toward weight savings other than maybe the thin backed recaros. they do have all the electrics added back so they could come in again similar to the current seat. so bottom line if there is any its marginal as under the skin its the same car mechanically besides a retuned suspension Changes to the driveline? Diffs, clutch, tranny, gearing? Drag? none of that was mentioned so I assume its a carry over from again the current NISMO. the final drive ratio of the auto is different than the auto on the non NISMO its. 3.692 vs 3.357 and they are claiming the acceleration is quicker to 60 in the Auto |
:ughdance: .......quicker to 60 in the Auto. LOVE MY AUTO
|
Same 350 hp ... lame, Nissan. Car looks great, but just give us the Z35 already!
