i honestly dont care if you get the new nismo and AT and all the bells and whistles. :D

i was dissappointed to see that the last Z34 nismo is not fulfilling much (if at all any) of the enthusiast feedback we posted here to improve the car.

Oh, I saw it... But I don't need your pity winky face!!! :p

*ahem*

I agree though. As far as the 2015 Nismo being 'new and improved', it kind of dropped the ball. Still, the other 370Z I've been looking at is 2014 Touring Sport + Nav, so if the Nismo price isn't too far off from that, might as well go for it as they're fairly similar cars at that point.

sure, if you're in the market for that AT, touring trim, etc , might as well get the top of the line. hell, anyone that's looking for a AT Z should consider the new nismo, i guess. it'd be foolish not to.

kenchan 05-19-2014 04:45 PM

and for the real car enthusiast looking for a 370Z, just keep buying the base with sport package and MT.

Or the enthusiast can buy whatever floats their boat sport,base,touring,mt,at.... With the exception of like a very few people on this forum , any RL z people you hang out with or meet will just be enthused you have a Z regardless of the model.

go for it if it fits your budget! Just ignore the snobs.

you need to relax malm. while there is truth to my posts, it's just banter. be able to decipher wat's a joke, wat isnt... you and a couple of others that come to mind take everything too seriously, personally, and as if im posting at you. :shakes head: to me, this new nismo is a f-king joke.

dont give yourselves so much credit. :icon17: i dont waste my time (joke) :hello:

Do it! You will have a special car that very few people will own :tiphat:

ParkStr8 05-19-2014 10:32 PM

I want to see it in gloss black with the '13 wheels...oh and I prefer the new spoiler....just not with the red stripe on white.

That shop looks Graham's Number times better than the 2015 POS. They forgot to take off the base rims and sport package lip. Oh Nissan!

mab864 05-20-2014 07:45 AM

Now... that's perfect. Maybe even better to loose the red stripe.

pfdaxe 05-20-2014 09:25 AM

Hmmm...my :twocents:

**Change not required...:tiphat:

Front-Not too bad
Rear-May grow on me
Rear Spoiler-Weak
Wheels-Weak
Adding Auto & Nav-Nice option
Seats-Very nice change
Dark Interior Accents-Nice change
No New Engine Mods, HP or Torque in 7 model years-Complete fail! (I know. Nissan waiting for redesign)

PhotoShop looks much better. Good work!

:eekdance:

I would love to get all the dark accent parts as well...wonder thy difficulties on the gauge clusters...

cheshirecat 05-20-2014 10:16 AM

that updated render is a hundred times better. drop the suspension and throw some spacers on those wheels to bring them more flush and you have a winner.

I think the hardest part would be the triple cluster. Heard those were difficult to remove.

I am pretty sure guys their will be a NISMO RS just like the Juke NISMO RS.

I'm pretty sure the RS will be more hard core and will have a wing and beefed up brakes and lighter.

speculation bus trip?

tjlazer 05-20-2014 12:23 PM

I would so get one and throw on a EVO-R highwing on it! :)

Volk Z 05-20-2014 02:41 PM

SO hot! I just sold my 2013 Nismo and this new one is making me want to go back to the dealer!!

They took all the ques i was hoping for, more aggressive front with contrasting darker colors, blacked out headlights, recaro seats, not a huge wing. The body kit is even better then the 2009-2014 which seemed to be hard to accomplish.

My thought is they did this to see how we like it and adapt some of the design on the Z35.
I hope the Z35 looks like this but downsized with a 325+hp 4 cylinder direct injection motor that revs up to 7800-8000 RPMS and only weighs around 2800 pounds.

Nissan if you do this put me down for a white one.

I'll take a wild guess, 45th Anniversary Nismo available in AT as well, Nismo treatment like the GT-R and Juke im terms of paint scheme obviously, maybe better diff, better cooling, brembo brakes, Recaro seats, no serious power, possibly another remapped ECU to squeeze more HP. Anyone tried asking Randy?

The 2015 Nismo final drive ratio has reportedly jumped up to 3.916. This is up a little from the 2014 Nismo at 3.692 for the 6MT. Assuming the 6MT ratios are the same, that should make the it a little more... um... squirley.

The 2015 Nismo 7AT appears to be keeping the 3.692.

its a piece of red leather/faux leather stitched into the wheel. the suede is really rough compared to other suede steering wheels ive seen. felt cheap actually.

(they had a 2014 at the auto show this year)

MC 05-20-2014 04:10 PM

here is another look at the seats and the seating position. This is me checking them out

Bravo. How did it really feel? Worth the arm and a leg that they will charge for them?

Footloose301 05-20-2014 09:25 PM

I was at ZDayZ and got to see this car debut in person. I have a ton of pics and video and got to sit and play around in it. Great seats, same ones from the Juke RS.

The wing is the only thing I don't care for because it's not aggressive enough to be a Nismo.

The wheels I love. However, I'm not sure I like them more than the 09-14' Nismos.

Agreed. I like the changes, but I think it's the novelty that I like the best. Given more time for the novelty to wear off, I think I'd prefer the previous models' body panels and wheels.

Footloose301 05-20-2014 09:52 PM

The extra fender flares actually look like something bought off the Autozone shelves to be honest. They're just pieced onto the car. If they didn't want to make special 1 piece fenders they could have at least molded the fender flare into the front bumper....

I do love how they got rid of the silver within the car and replaced it with a dark graphite looking color. Check out the door handles and plastic trims around various things like the shifter and such.

I'm askin everybody... :happydance:

Footloose301 05-20-2014 10:08 PM

I didn't pay that much attention to that but I zoomed in on this pic I took and it definitely appears to be embedded into the bumper like the previous ones unfortunately. You can see a slight outline around the emblem indicating its embedment.

Also, Just an FYI.... but when we were talking to the guys from Nissan at ZDayZ they let it slip that they are working hard on an "RS" version and possibly a supercharged version. In fact, they went so far as to looking at Osiris' Stillen supercharged 370Z at our cabin. Apparently somebody at Nissan is good friends with the people at Stillen and they've been doing some research on it.... and more was said but this is about the most "concrete" stuff we heard coming out of their mouths.

lesper4 05-21-2014 08:37 AM

And there is where rumors start, lol.

Running4Mayor 05-21-2014 08:47 AM

All cosmetic? Eh... Not interested. But an upgraded powerplant will definitely catch my attention. As long as it dosen't come with brittle parts such as a CSC maybe
