I never did to anything to fix mine..still not locking!  The way I look at it, people are going to steal your gas if they really want to. It's seriously a matter and seconds and a slip of the finger to bust the locking pin off. I mean, c'mon, its made out of PLASTIC. That's almost like putting a plastic deadbolt on my front door
