Nothing would keep you from installing an aftermarket LSD?

I think mine's good - I easily bust loose BOTH tires when taking off and can break loose the rear-end nearly at will otherwise.

Just controlling the car afterwards is something I have no mastered ;)

Really? The only reason i am looking to buy the sport package is for the Limited slip as i am getting aftermarket wheels/bodykit. I will not be tracking the car much, if at all. Mostly just street driving. However, does installing an aftermarket slip void the warranty?

You think you will like it without the RevMatch, but TRUST ME, you will love it!

This thread seems a lil silly cuz it seems like homeboy already has his mind made up about going base.
Furthermore, he's talking about serious modding jus to act a fool on the road.
I can understand wanting cheaper tires, but the standard tires on the base already aren't much more expensive compared to 17's.
Truthfully speaking. The sport package is perfect for pseudo red light racers, I guess?
Its perfect for real racers.
The only mods the akebonos need is brake lines, rotors & pads. It may be 900 in mods but once done they will be as good if not better than $5,000 brembos. So that alone is worth the 3k. If u don't want the rims. U can sell them for $2000 unused n buy 18x9's that will fit. The width of these tires is what costs.
If u go thinner than 9in u will lose .08g to .12g. So there goes ur twisty performance.
You go thinner this will be a straight line car. This is one area where nissan perfected the car by putting perfect size tires for maximum performance. U can buy better tires to increase grip but the sizes on stock are perfect.

Imo opinion though... for wat u want the car for n wat u wanna spend n have.
Other cars would be better suited. Like a used or new S2000 sounds about right.
Or if u set on a coupe. The solstice coupe or maybe even a hardtop mazdaspeed miata.
They all run smaller tires. Highly modifiable n cheap to mod. All are either fast or really easy to make fast n on the street are great.
