Anyone else's Z do this?

Did a drive on highway and then a couple of spirited mountain runs here. Got oil temps above 220, then tried to replicate your issue. My rpm's came back down

Got oil temps above 220, then tried to replicate your issue. My rpm's came back down after tapping throttle and did not rise. Don't think my engine was heat soaked though as that would probably have something to do with it, but that would be hard to do here on my tiny island.
