Maybe we're all looking at this the wrong way...
Maybe this is just an indication that Nissan is determined to make the Z35 something special relative to the Z34. After all, they've brought out quite a few "special edition" Z34's now (40th, Nismo, GT, Nismo v2, Nismo v2.1), so maybe they are aware of the degree of desire for something both affordable and really special and these variants are all pointing towards that. Of course, I'm an optimist... I suppose the other way to look at it is: Expect the Z35 to be the Nismo v2.1 without red seats and a lesser front and rear bumper... Well... at least the Q60 got new headlights...
