off toppic, but been wondering how that werd ricer came about? ... sure i read the difinition in urban slang dictionary and on wikipedia.

I don't know exactly, but in the early '60's when Japanese motorcycles like Honda and Yamaha were becoming big in the US, the riders of "other" motorcycles derisively referred to them as "rice burners." I'd guess something along similar lines.
