I've never had a problem with anybody (Honda, Toyota, Ferrari, etc) on the roads.

As of a few weeks ago, that is no longer true

But your initial point is so true.

As a former, until very recently, Honda S2000 owner, I'd like to dispute most of the previous posts. I've had the very same experiences with my S2000. It's not all Honda drivers, it's usually very young Civic drivers with heavily modified (i.e. fartcans) cars. In the 9 years that I drove an S2000, I've had virtually every make of car try to goad me into street racing - including a number of 350Zs. The worst were the Subaru WRX owners.

That's because a WRX is what the civic owners buy after they grow out of the civic with the fartcan.

Back in '99-00 I had an EG hatchback with B16 cable tranny, all bolt-on's, straight pipe, Mugen chip, etc. It was fast, prolly a mid to high 13-sec. car. One day, this guy in a clean Datsun 510 with roll-bar, gauges, suspension, nice Panasport wheels, and you could hear his Mikuni carbs, rolls up next to me at the red light. He's smirking, and so did I....Green light. Boom! I blow his *** away by at least 4 car lengths. Now, this was in my early 20s. I don't do this anymore, and it was before Hondas started going rice.

Don't underestimate all Hondas ..some can hit 12s and are streetable.

So no one in a stock Z has anything to worry about.
