ok so it's obvious which side of the arguement i'm backing but......
which ever side you're on, 6MT or 7AT, i will say this: you cannot deny (if you've tried one) the fact that the 7AT that the 370 uses is an amazing set-up. i've driven many other "sports" cars with similar power/engines with paddle shiftable autos and they are garbage. recently picked up a 2013 camaro with the V6 and auto tranny to flip. tried the paddles and it was awful. it would take 2-3 seconds to shift at high rpm's and going down a gear sucked as well. been in a few other sporty cars with paddles or slap sticks and the story is the same. in the end if you've ever tried a 7AT Z they you realize how amazing the set-up is and how well it works. so for the sake that we drive the same car and the car has one of the greatest auto-manual transmissions, i say you 6MT superior idiots just let it go. can we just enjoy the fact that our car as a whole is superior to others? lets stop beating the dead horse already and move on as a community.......to go and make fun of ricers and FR-S/BR-Z owners. ![]()
