There is a lots of mod that end up on the parts for sale section.
I radar buy something whit the options that I need. This way I am not taking my car a part, and installing thing that will give me trouble. |
Keeping a really well designed car stock preserves the finesse and balance that was put in during its design. Aftermarket parts always make some things better at the expense of others. Pick your compromise I guess :)

Yes if that is what you like. I don't any more.
I paid to much just for it to just take a part, that is why I got the Nismo. Quote:

370Z wannabe here. I'm finally about to start the restoration of the 1973 240Z I bought new. And I really want to do it myself, but now I'd rather show off than get my fingernails all greasy. :-)
I did do some minor "upgrades" (radio, carburetors, spoiler) on my Z when new, but I at least saved most of the old stuff, which is now expensive/hard to find. So I'll save a little money on the restoration. ( I even have the original Monroney window sticker, which they tell me will be a big hit at the club events.) So save everything. Unfortunately the cost of the restoration is about the cost of a new 370Z, which is why I'm still a wannabe. Maybe next year... Keep your Z forever. You will be glad you did. Crazy car.
Need two people to drive this. The passenger can hang out the window as a counter balance when cornering. |
I saw myself as the wannabe to 240z OWNERS. Enjoy your car bruh.

Exactly! Think of how many laughs would be missed if you fixed that car so it didn't flip onto its roof at the slightest provocation. It would be < clarkson accent > utterly pointless and stupid < /clarkson accent >. Top Gear wouldn't have even had a segment on it because it would be boring!

The 370z is too slow for me. I am a turbo guy. I am use to easing down on the throttle, spooling the turbo's, and squirting past traffic. Our NA 370z you have to go down 2 gears at cruising speed to pass someone. If you are not at 5-7500 rpm's the power is not very satisfying to me. You can stay stock, I'll do what I always do. Mod the car to my satisfaction.
