I get that you don't like it but I actually drive my car hard everyday with no problems

It's not that "we don't like it". Well, of course we don't but that's not the point. So low that the control arm hits the fender is stupid, bad and dangerous to you and the other cars you'll hit when the car's front suspension comes apart at speed. That's not a matter of "not liking it", that's a matter of "it's bad and you should stop it".
