then I'll be how would you do a diagnosis that should cost $80 but now for free and then tell me I need to pay $800.

was your Z behaving normally before you brought in to the dealer?

I will suggest you bring it to a reputated local mechanic and get a 2nd opinion.

i brought my Z in to the nissan dealer yesterday at first the guy told me its free to replace the sensor and i have a recall for the steering problem so this morning i leave my Z at the dealer to fix it and they called me saying the sensor is not cover by the powertrain warranty therefore i have to pay 776 dollars to fix it... i just got my car back without fixing the sensor problem im not gonna give 776 dollars for a sensor...

something doesn't make sense.....
if its the fuel sensor which indicates the gauge levels, who cares.
If its a fuel sensor for the fuel injectors, if there is such sensor??? That may need to be looked after
