Well, so much for filling up like a NASCAR team at the pumps *long drawn-out sigh*
|
i personally use a method that i notice my dad use over the years that i find easier the the stant instant fill.
just stick the gas cap in between the gas pump trigger and jus sit back in the car if it's cold/hot out, or do other stuff like clean your windows, or go inside the store to buy cigarettes/junk food. once the tank is full, the pump trigger does that pop thing and the trigger goes soft so the gas cap won't cause overfill anyways. |

ya it's a law in nj that you can't fill up ur own gas. i forgot about that a few times when i visited. i rather fill my own gas and also save a buck for tip.

A lot of bad reviews on Amazon for this, seems to break after a few uses. I would stay away.

I've been using mine for three years but it's mostly a weekend/seasonal only car. Threw a code once last year. The cause was the little flapper valve wasn't making a good seal. Removed cap and worked the seal to seat correctly again. Took all of five seconds. No codes since. I like the convenience of filling up with this cap. My other three vehicles have caps but that's no big deal either screwing with them.

mine broke after 3 months... thank god it didnt fall in the tank (flapper)
