Minor thing...gas cap tether

I cut that tether off the first day I owned the car. We can't pump our own gas here, and I didn't want the gas pumping moron hanging it against

I've not really looked at it enough to figure out if there's a "clean" way to remove it short of clipping it - is that what you did or something else?


As for "where" to put the gas cap - set it on top of the gas pump, that's what I've always done with non-tethered caps...

I dunno, I just took some scissors and clipped it short at both ends. I don't like hanging the cap on the gas door because it's so flimsy and fragile.
