Not a toyoburu guy yourself? lol I wave at every 370z I see. Sometimes I'm let down and sometimes I get a nice wave back.

Love Toyotas, no feelings on Subaru, but I do HATE that car. I'll race them (on a closed course obviously) in my dad's Maxima, and get to a stop, "Hey, how does that 3 banger and 200 horsepower feel? Sucks don't it, the family sedan with my fat áss, my friend, a glass roof, and cooled seats just raped you!"

That's exactly why I did not buy one after I sold my Celica - I was basically getting the same car.

Last time I waved at a 350 the dude kept staring at me. There was a car between us at the stoplight, but the dude crept up as far as he could to look me in the eyes and rev his engine...it sounded like a Honda. Poor Z I'll just wave at 370s from now on.

350z/G35 crowd is known for being mostly wannabe stunna douchebags. I've never had issues with 370z guys except they just don't usually wave or say hi because they think whatever trim package they have is superior.

At the gym I got to there's a 350z wannabe hellaflush stance crap with the wheels sticking out.

I thought you said you were leaving?

Back on topic, I'll wave at a stock or tastefully modded Z of any vintage. If you're rocking the hellaflush look, I'll pretend I didn't see you.

THIS^

Most Z owners I've come across (regardless of gen) have been d-bags. LITERALLY less than a handful I have met have shown good comradery. TWO different Z owners I came across here in the Nashville area (one even in our TN G/Z FB group) actually gave me a hard time about owning a touring model and not a "sport model".
Seriously!? Judging a fellow enthusiast about his or her trim level?

I LOVE the amount of information on this forum and the knowledge of it's members but, DAMN I have REALLY been disappointed in the community. I had a friend of mine put it this way. "Think of Z owners like BMW owners. React and respond as such" He is a former Z owner and now drives a BMW X5 lol

Just my POV and I'll side with the OP.

well, yah, the proper trim a true enthusiast would get is the base with sport package, illuminated sills and splash guards... oh and wheel locks and trunk floor carpeting. dont forget the trunk floor carpeting.

touring. sheesh...
