We took your opinion and just expressed why we think it won't happen, based on how Nissan operates its business model, that is all. |
We are all hear because we love our Z cars. If they don't build what we want we have other choices. 2015 Corvette ZO6 would be nice.

If you don't like the 4 banger (which you won't know until you try it...) then swap it for a LS V8 :p
|
Boosting the current v6 would be cheap and super-effective... That's all I'm saying. Who wouldn't want a 450+ hp Z with parts that are interchangeable with ones from the past 6 years? It wouldn't even require retooling the factory.

I'm 56. Less than 4 years for me!!!

In 4 years, won't you need a 4 seater for the grand kids? :icon17:

The wife has a jeep. I should be good to go.

Hope they offer 2 engines :)
I love the VQ. |
If they make it a turbo 4 they better reduce the weight of the car substantially, not just because of the smaller engine. the current Z weighs what? 3400 lbs? The new Z better shed 600-800 lbs if they want it to perform at a higher level.

If anything, if anything, the cost should at least stay the same. This car is still tough to sell at dealerships, and worse to lease due to its """shitty""" residual value [or so the dealership claims..bs]. A possible 4 cylinder displacement would definitely be disappointing, quite the opposite of what bmw did with their m3, when they took it from the v6 e46 to the monster v8 on the e92.
|
and now they're back to a v6 for the m4 so...
