Nice 'stang! I have an aluminum fuel door on my Dodge 3500 and it looks good on it. I don;t know about the Z, unless it was painted black maybe

Nice 'stang! I have an aluminum fuel door on my Dodge 3500 and it looks good on it. I don;t know about the Z, unless it was painted black maybe and had the same contour as the orginal door? After thinking about for a bit and searching around the net, looks like the fuel doors are a problem on the Z. I plan to continue to visit my favorite car wash but will take these precautions.... First, place a roll of Gorilla tape in the car and TAPE the door shut before entering the wash. Two, make sure the doors are electrically locked prior to entering wash. Three, after exiting the wash remove the tape when I am drying off the car. Gorilla tape is tough, hope it doesn't take off the paint
 . The fuel door is obviously a design problem, just have to make due. I really DO like this car though!
