What modifications do you already have?

Amuse kit requires the right ride height and the right rims (style and offset) to look good. So if you don't have the other components yet, your car will look worse.

And 900 bucks to fit and paint match your blue? Unless you know the shop well, knows how to judge a good paint job from a bad one, and getting this done at cost, you risk your car look like *** (at worst), or seeing the color difference every time under sun light (possible even with decent workmanship). Body panel is metal, the kit will be fiberglass/plastic/not metal, it will need some blending to make it look right.

Audio is the saver bet if you must spend the $.

Also, is your car fixed?

I vote for bolt on mods

Chuck33079 12-28-2013 02:19 PM

Maybe snow tires and winter wheels?

Riptide67 12-28-2013 02:28 PM

I wouldn't go cheap on an amuse kit. Do it right!

Given the two options, I would spend some of that on audio. Not all of it.

Set some cash aside and save for an amuse kit the right way, if that's what you desire.

Amuse kit in a heart beat! No offence but I'm a type of guy who can careless about stereo. If my OEM stereo broke down the first day of the ownership of my Z, I wouldn't bother going back to getting it replaced even if it's under warranty. I would rather listen to the song my Z sings than the stereo ::tup::

Get Exhaust.... No need for audio then

:iagree: performance mods should take priority.

Amuse! Honestly I havent researched amuse options or any of that on any Z vehicles

So my care for amuse and their products are well. non existent. Simple. :icon17:

Amuse for 1500? OP you might wanna check with your friend again. Something doesn't seem right. Also... If I had 1500 dollars I would probably opt for an exhaust setup

Amuse Kit, just because I want to see what a 900 dollar paint and install job looks like.

Minsu 12-30-2013 08:56 AM

Ive taken a look at the amuse kit and its great it was fitted on his car when i was looking at it. And sadly no the car wasnt fixed yet, still have a slowly rusting rear quarter panel. Quick question now that topics up, can i just cut out that section of the panel order a new panel cut the new panel and weld it to the existing quarter panel? And paint should be around 700-800 for bumper, front and rear, and skirts. I dont see install costing more than 200 to be honest. Also im slightly leaning towards audio as well. Minus the sub and amp for now. Dropping my overall price to about 500 and then i can use some of that money to pay the car.

Then why are we discussing where the $1500 is going? Shouldn't that be the first thing you do? Fix the car before you mod it further?

Where do you get your numbers for paint and install? They're way low for any kind of reputable shop. That's Maaco prices.

edub370 12-30-2013 10:24 AM

why do u want a massive audio setup in a 370z? repair car, put wheels and coils on, car looks better than rusted car with subs...
