I ended up passing on both cars.
I've always really wanted an '09 in Chicane Yellow because I loved my ultra yellow 350z. After looking at the others, I just decided that having a yellow one just puts the car on an entirely different level for me. I had trouble finding them, so I had just given up on a yellow one, but I'm going to be more patient. I also have three different Nissan dealers looking to see if they can find one. I have to thank poster DR_ for saying something in the thread below that finally told me what I needed to hear. High Miles Z a bad idea? Quote:

In my opinion you overpaid a bit but it's not horrible. I bought my 2010 in March of 2013, fully loaded with 16k miles for 28k OTD. Deal is done now so no need to get worked up about it. Just enjoy the car. |

I know this thread has been dead for six days now, but I just wanted to say that I got a 370z today. After seeing a Monterey Blue 370z in person, I decided that I like it quite a bit...almost as much as the yellow...but enough to be really happy with it. Did a real thorough inspection and check of the 2010 370z Touring/Sport that I listed in the first post and decided to get it. The only issue with it was from where the previous owner seems to have gone over a speed bump that was a little too tall and it left a small ugly scrape at the bottom of the passenger side front bumper and broke the splash guard behind the front passenger tire a little bit on the bottom. All stuff that can be fixed but isn't really noticeable unless you get down really low to check. I really enjoyed the ride home and can't wait to see how it does with new tires in the next day or two. I'll miss the Titan Pro-4x I had, but I'm glad to be back in a Z.
And it is already dark, so I'll have to add pictures to the thread later when it is daylight and we get dry weather. Tomorrow's weather is going to suck. |
