It provides lumbar support. If turn it while leaning in the seat you should feel it get stiffer in the lower back of seat.

Thanks for the lumbar info, I was kind of hoping it would be a release lever to fold the drivers seat forward, so you could gain access to the area behind the seats.

That should be there also. I own a 350 not a 370 but all seats have a drop down lever.

I don't know..... I moved the lever and the seat back support increased. I see no way to get the power seat back to fold forward. I must be missing something, or just don't understand how it works.....

Yeah my 350z I pop one lever and my seat drops. When I get time tomorrow I will drop by Nissan and check it out to get a better look for future reference. I have a 08 m35x, its a power drop down so if you find a button on the side thats up/down.....feel for the top end and push it fwd.

^^^^I confirmed that there is no release lever to pull seat forward like in other models.

You have to use the recline switch to pull the seat forward to a have access to the back. no lever to do this.

It's not different at all. The only difference is that on 350, it was a manual adjustment, and the new one is with power passenger seat. Any car with power seats will have the same setup.
